Clarins Eye Revive Beauty Flash Eye Cream

Despite knowing the importance of using an eye cream regularly, it’s always the one product that’s usually missing from my skincare routine. I’ve never found one that I’ve fell in love with enough to repurchase or seen outstanding results from, and up until recently I’ve been without one for months. Whilst browsing the Clarins counter I was advised by a specialist that the Eye Revive Beauty Flash eye cream is a great choice for someone of my age. I’ve always suffered with dark circles and some puffiness around the eyes so a brightening, tightening and refreshing treatment sounded perfect.

I use this product in the morning as it’s aimed at minimizing signs of fatigue, puffiness and dark circles whilst also illuminating and hydrating the eye area. While I do agree that it offers some hydration, I haven’t been super impressed with the results of this eye cream. It hasn't helped reduce the look of dark circles and isn't particularly brightening. The most noticeable effect of using this eye cream has been how tight the skin around my eyes feels, which isn’t a major priority for me.

I do like that it’s a creamy, gel consistency as it feels fairly nourishing as well as refreshing, however I’m not convinced that this product is anything ground-breaking. It comes with a pretty hefty price tag at £29 for a 20ml tube and although you only need a tiny amount, I just don’t think it’s worth it. I’ll continue to use this up and hopefully I’ll see some long-term results, which I’ll be sure to update you on.

Hey Katie, I've just come across your blog and love it! I'm the same with eye creams, I haven't gotten around to picking up one yet. I've heard the Origins one is quite good from a few of my friends, let me know how the Clarins one goes :)
